Rick and I have been clearing out his shop to make way for new items.  I found a box with a few of these cast iron crosses out there.  I guess they've been out there for years now.  I like the way they look so I decided to take each one and clean it up and paint it.  I use Rust Oleum Heirloom White (off white) for the base color and then add some striking gold highlights.   AS you can see, they turn out NICE!

It has a built-in mounting hole at the top.  I've pictured the back of it.  (btw when I took pictures I'd not yet added the mounting hole so that's why you don't see it in the front facing pictures.  But I did take a picture of it from the back after I added the hole just so you know that it DOES have a mounting hole).

This cross measures 10 1/2" tall and 7 3/4" wide.  It weighs ONE and 1/4 Pounds.

Would make a wonderfully unique religious gift.
