Materials: Wood.
Presumed age: Second half of the 20th century.
Mask of the Yohoure ethnic group, or Yauré, from the center of Côte d'Ivoire.
The Calao, a symbol of happiness and prosperity, is presented as a couple, on each side of an anthropomorphic face. Very finely carved piece.
