• Charging: Use only with compatible Ni-MH/Ni-Cd chargers designed for 12V battery packs. Do not overcharge.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight (recommended temperature: 15-25°C). Can be stored fully charged or partially discharged.
• Handling: Do not short circuit, puncture, crush, or expose to fire. Handle with care.
• Temperature: Do not charge or discharge in extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 45°C).
• Disposal: Dispose of properly according to local regulations. Ni-Cd batteries contain cadmium and must be recycled. Do not throw in regular trash.
• Inspection: Do not use if battery is damaged, swollen, or leaking.
• Memory Effect: Ni-Cd batteries may develop memory effect. Fully discharge before recharging for optimal performance.
• Solar Application: Ensure proper charge controller is used to prevent overcharging from solar panels.
