An excellent couple of solid sterling silver pepperettes, fashioned as flour dusters.

The slightly smaller is hallmarked for Birmingham 1894 with the maker's mark for Joseph Whitten. The bigger, for Birmingham 1906 and Robert Pringle. 

The lids pull off and carry partial hallmarks.  The condition of both is very good and the fact that they are different would enable them to be distinguished from each other if they were to be used for salt and pepper on a picnic!
