 A vintage original Asahi Pentax from the late 70's, All metal, heavier than later models .

This pre-owned camera was gently used but not abused. 

We did a complete overhaul, with every mayor component either replaced or repaired, then everything was adjusted to factory specifications

Cleaned and lubricated all mechanical parts, replaced complete mirror box, prism and screen. New seals and mirror bumper.

Replaced light meter and installed a new battery.

Replaced gears of the advance mechanism.

Serviced lens mount (stainless steel) and  its variable resistor.

Battery compartment was cleaned and shows NO corrosion.

Naturally and due to its age, there are several scuff marks/ blemishes on top, and bottom plate.

 .

 Lens is a Pentax  M  50mm f/2.0. Very smooth focusing  and clean diaphragm blades.

A UV filter and generic lens cap are in place.

To improve the lens performance, we are including an original Japan made ICI 2x converter, this will double the focal lenght of the 50mm lens for stunning portraits with blurred background ( bokeh effect)

Finally a complete  bench and film test was performed.

We are including the original old strap and  new generic nylon holster ( camera case).

Also a new micro fiber cleaning cloth and  lens brush. PENTAX  INSTRUCTION  MANUAL.
