Up for sale is a classic mid-century Longines manual wind dress watch powered by the Longines caliber 280. The watch has been serviced and is running strongly at approximately +10 seconds/day with ~240° amplitude.

This is an honest, original example — not a refinished dial piece — with attractive natural aging consistent with a 1964 watch.

Case
• Stainless steel
• 33 mm (excluding crown)
• Good lug definition, not heavily polished
• Light normal wear from age

Dial & Hands
• Original champagne sunburst dial
• Applied Longines logo and hour markers
• Correct dauphine hands
• Even patina with some spotting (see photos)
• No peeling or flaking

Movement
• Longines Caliber 280 manual wind
• Recently serviced
• Running approx +5 sec/day
• Amplitude approx 240°
• Winds smoothly and keeps time well

Crown / Stem
The crown and stem have been replaced. This watch uses a vintage split-stem design common on many Longines of the era. The crown can separate when pulled firmly, which is normal and allows the movement to be removed during servicing. It pushes back in and functions as intended.

Crystal & Strap
• Clean crystal
• New leather strap

Notes:
This is a 60+ year old mechanical watch. Timekeeping is strong but not guaranteed to modern quartz standards.

Carefully packed and shipped securely. Happy to answer questions or provide additional photos.
