Welcome to this listing for an original WWII Ka-Bar Mark 2 Fighting Knife, OAL 11.5" approximately.  The leather of the grip is in decent shape but has been smoothed showing honest age, wear, or use, see pics for the condition.  The guard is firmly in place and very narrow in thickness.  The pommel is modified as shown in the photos and is loose at the end.  This should be able to be tightened but I leave that up to the next owner..  The blade is in decent condition, measuring 6.75".  The blade shows honest use, moderate sharpening, age, and wear, see pictures to judge condition for yourself.  The blade is marked KA-BAR Olean NY on the reverse.  I was not able to see a "USMC or USN" mark on the other side.  You will receive the exact knife pictured.  Ask any questions necessary prior to bidding.  Nice used modified KaBar example for your collection.
