A vintage USED English Stanley No. 78 rebate plane. Please note this plane has a depth stop but NO fence or rods.The cutting iron is Stanley with approx. 25mm edge remaining. The main body has no fractures to its cast parts, the mouth openings are good, and the front nose is still intact. There is some light pitting and age patina to the sole and side cheeks. The nicking cutter is still present. There is black paint/enamel finish loss to all parts that were originally painted along with scratches and other marks to the main body. The unpainted parts have plating loss, marks from use, and age patina. All the threads are good, and the lever arm moves as it should. Most of the Stanley trade label remains on the lever cap.
