For sale is this striking Larvikite wand, a polished crystal point carved from genuine Norwegian Larvikite.

Larvikite is a distinctive igneous rock (a variety of monzonite) quarried primarily in the Larvik area of Norway. It is prized by collectors for its characteristic labradorescence – the shimmering silver-blue flash (schiller effect) caused by alternating layers of feldspar crystals. This creates a captivating play of light across the surface, often resembling a starry night sky or galaxy-like patterns when viewed from different angles.

The wand features a classic double-terminated shape with six-sided facets tapering to pointed ends. The deep charcoal-grey to black base is interspersed with iridescent silvery-blue flashes that catch the light beautifully. One side shows particularly strong labradorescence with subtle blue and silver highlights.
