This pencil comes with a brass holder crafted in a Japanese press factory. When not in use the pencil fits inside the holder making it compact and portable. You can also use it without the clip by removing the eraser. Simply clip the clip loosely to the leather cover or remove the clip and toss it in your pocket. Carry it with you at all times making it a companion for your journey through life. The solid brass initially shines golden but with continued use the surface oxidizes developing a rich rich color. Refills with pencil and eraser sets are also available allowing you to enjoy the aging process of the brass over time. You can also use shorter pencils of standard diameters.
