Antique or early vintage Catholic rosary featuring faceted oval mother-of-pearl beads and a finely carved pierced mother-of-pearl crucifix.

The crucifix is beautifully detailed with foliate and floral relief carving and openwork panels, typical of devotional rosaries produced in France, Italy, or Bethlehem around the late 19th to early 20th century.

The beads display attractive natural nacre lustre and are linked with darkened metal wire, likely brass or steel. A very decorative and collectible devotional piece.
