This is a commemorative medal issued in 1958 to mark a decade of Israel's State independence and in honor of Ze'ev Jabotinsky a prominent Zionist leader, author, and orator. 

The medal was minted by G. Tzachovoy.

Obverse:

Front of the medal bears bas-relief of Jabotinsky with his name above.

Reverse:

A quotation from Jabotinsky's poem, "The East of the Jordan": "Two banks has the Jordan, this one is ours - and that is as well", with his signature below, and legend around "A Decade to Israel's Independence # 5708 - 5818 [1948-1958]"
