This is a genuine Hadrosaur dinosaur fossil. It is from North America in the late Cretaceous. Hadrosaurs were called the "Duckbill" dinosaurs although they really don't look like a duck and it definitely did not swim. It is hard for me to pin down exactly what part this piece came from, but it was found in an Edmontosaur bone bed. Hadrosaurs were herbivores, plant eaters. They did not eat mushy marine plants but hard terrestrial plants. They had little defense against predators but did vocalize when a predator was near.
