Presenting an exquisite Czech malachite green glass bud vase produced by Curt Schlevogt circa 1930s.
This stunning bud vase is beautifully decorated with a harmoniously balanced relief design featuring nude female figures / nymphs beneath fruiting grape vines. The nude figures have been beautifully modelled with exceptional attention to detail and display a magnificent depth and exuberant sense and of movement.
This exceptional molded glass vessel has been crafted in rich opaque green glass with a pleasing satin finish resembling natural jade or malachite stone.
This stunning example displays a magnificent richness of colour, the relief design is incredibly crisp, the rims have been beautifully finished with beveled edges and the quality flat ground base displays light surface wear consistent with age.
This authentically vintage example perfectly captures all of the elegance and grace of the 1930s Art Deco period and is an absolute delight to behold.
SIZE: This delightful bud vase stands approx 125mms tall, measures 75mms in diameter at its widest and 45mms in diameter at the top rim.
