This is an antique Japanese book of animals and scenics by Hoksai (1760 - 1849).  Printed poosthumously in Meiji 1875 after the artists death using the original wood blocks.

  All pages are made by using wood block prints.   Hand bound (now loose). This book contains some 100 of these double sided hand printed pages. 

Despite its age, the all pictures are still very clear.. This book has been in storage for some 100 years and remains in very fine condition. The book measures 6" wide by 9 " tall (15 x 23 cm).
