Bring the power of today's railroading to your HO layout with the Walthers Mainline 910-20225, a GE ES44AC Evolution Series GEVO decorated for CSX #1827 in the Baltimore & Ohio Heritage scheme. Introduced in 2003 to meet tougher emission standards, the ES44 rates 4,400 horsepower and has become one of the most common diesels in North America. The 910-20225 carries factory ESU sound for use on both DCC and DC layouts.

Sound and control features on the 910-20225 include four function outputs with brightness control by CV, dual-mode operation with 14, 28, and 128 speed steps, four air horns and two bells changeable by CVs, full 8-notch prime mover sound, plus compressor and dynamic brake effects. A 21-pin DCC plug is provided, and the model handles 18" radius curves with 22" or larger recommended. Six powered axles supply pulling power, while LED lighting delivers a correct headlight position and working front ditch lights. Three truck styles are offered across the series to match the prototype.
