The LORENTZ Sun Switch light sensor allows users to set an irradiation level at which the pump is switched on. This means that no power goes to the pump until there is a sufficient sun level to power the pump to a level where it can effectively pump water. The sun switch ensures that the pump cannot be damaged by continued periods of low irradiation. It can also be used to set the min. pump flow rates for irrigation systems.
Great for optimising electricity use with a solar power system. Use the sun's energy to run electricity intensive items like pool pumps.
