Stunning solid bronze/brass interior passage door knob by Yale & Towne).
This oval design was called "Meridian" and was featured in the 1905 and
1910 catalogs. Listed as N-13800 on the ADCA website.
This has been restored to resemble its original appearance when first installed
over a hundred years ago. It was professionally buffed to a high shine. Finally,
a coat of gloss polyurethane was applied to reduce future tarnishing.
The knob is about 2.5" long by 1 5/8" wide and stands about 2 1/5" tall.
Note: This knob uses the Yale & Towne "Triplex" spindle (not included)
...not the 'regular' 3/8" or 5/16" square spindle. It also does not use a set
screw to attach to the spindle it uses a solid pin (not included)
