Apple Valley Doll Works wigs were made by MONIQUE Company.

All of the Apple Valley doll wigs were tagged differently.  No Cardboard tag, just labeled on each cardboard support.  No Satin Monique label is sewn into the cap.

For How to Measure Correctly for Wigs, see last picture.  Measure around the whole head and behind the ears and across the top of the forehead. 

Modacrylic Hair - FULL CAP WIG - cloth material cap with elastic band around entire edge of the cap.  NO adjustable strap.  Nice stretch to the cap.   

Doris Day style wig!  Slight under curl at the ends.  The wig needs a tad of re-shaping, and the hair needs to settle down.  Typically, just having the wig sit on your dolls head will do the trick. 

** First doll modeling the wig is ALETA by Annette Himstedt and her head measures 14.75" inches and the wig fits her. 

**Second doll is a Lee Middleton doll and her head is 14.5" inches and the wig fits her.  

Wig does fit a 15" inch doll head as long as the head is NOT too round. 

Wig may be too big for some 14" inch doll heads and you may need to gather the band.
