This is a vintage Matchbox No. 1 Aveling-Barford Diesel Road Roller toy.
It is finished in a mid-green color with red metal rollers.
The model shown appears to be an earlier version with a short, peaked canopy and a tan driver figure.
It was produced by Lesney and was the first toy that fit into a matchbox.
Different versions were made from 1953 to the late 1950s, with slight variations in size and features.
