Stop replacing cheap generic struts every 6 months. Restore your cabinet lift doors with Genuine Hafele hardware. Unlike unbranded "no-name" generics that lose pressure or leak oil quickly, these pistons are manufactured to Hafele's strict German engineering standards.
Verified Durability: Tested to 40,000+ opening cycles (meets LGA Certified Standards).
Premium Quality: High-grade internal seals prevent the gas leakage common in cheaper aftermarket parts.
Smooth Operation: Hydraulic damping ensures your cabinet doors open smoothly and stay open where you want them.
To ensure your cabinet door opens and closes correctly, you must select the right "Newton" (N) rating. The wrong size will either fail to hold the door up or be too hard to close.
1. Check your old piston: Look at the printed text on the silver tube of your old, broken strut. You will see a number followed by an "N" (e.g., 60N, 80N, 100N). Match this number exactly.
2. If your old label is worn off (General Rules):
50N / 60N: For smaller, lighter cabinet doors (often above refrigerators).
80N / 100N: The most common sizes for standard kitchen overhead cabinets.
120N: For heavy or large doors (often used on microwave lift cabinets).
Brand: Hafele (Genuine OEM)
Condition: New (Surplus Inventory)
Finish: Silver/Grey
Mount Type: Clip-on (Fits standard ball-stud brackets)
Pack Sizes: Available in Pairs (2-Pack) or Contractor Packs (10-Pack).
Always replace both struts. It is highly recommended to replace both pistons on a door at the same time. If one has failed, the other is likely weak. Mixing a new strong piston with an old weak one causes uneven pressure that can warp your cabinet hinges.
