Scarce Early Antique Pressed Flint Glass Cup Plate, LR - 62A, c. 1828 - 1835. This cup plate is Lee-Rose #62A and it was probably manufactured in New England during the early period for pressed glass cup plates. This is possibly Sandwich Glass. This cup plate has an attractive design of a series of crossing lines, or "Plaid" in the center, with a stippled design to the rim with eight sheafs of wheat on the rim. This is a hard to find cup plate that I have only found twice before in over 40 years of collecting.
SIZE: The cup plate is 7/16" H. x 3 7/16" Dia..
CONDITION: The condition is good for early flint glass with a couple small chips and some nicks and roughness around the rim. Please look at the picture that shows a side view as the cup plate is twisted or warped. There are the usual imperfections found in early flint glass such as sand, bubbles, inclusions and striations.
SHIPPING: Buyer pays actual shipping costs based upon the 9 ounces weight and postal zone. Please use the shipping calculator within this listing to calculate postage within the continental United States. This includes professional packing with USPS delivery.
