Brooks Brothers 346 Suit 38 Short 33x31 100% Wool Gray Men's 2 Button

Offering for sale this Brooks Brothers 346 suit in men's size 38 Short. The jacket and matching pants are both 100% wool and made in Egypt. This suit appears to have never been worn - it's crisp and clean with no indications of use whatsoever that I can find. There is a tear at the hem on the floor which is described below.

Condition Note: This suit appears to be unworn with two exceptions: there are 2 broken sleeve buttons on the jacket, and there is a small tear/split at the bottom of one pants cuff. On the right sleeve, the 3rd button up from the bottom is broken in half. On the left sleeve, the 2nd button from the cuff is broken in half. There is also a button with a chip out of it. Each sleeve has 4 buttons total. No spare buttons were found sewn into the jacket. The pants have a small split or separation of the fabric at the bottom hem of one cuff - I've included close-up photos of this.

Possible Solutions: The best solution I can see is to convert the sleeve cuffs to a 3-button configuration instead of 4 - simply remove the broken buttons and reposition the intact buttons to the three end positions. Alternatively, there are buttons on the back pockets of the pants that could be borrowed for the sleeves, as they're hidden under the jacket when worn.

Jacket Details:

The jacket is a classic 2-button front style with shoulder pads. The shell is 100% wool with a 100% viscose lining. The sleeves have a 2-inch cuff that can be let down if additional length is needed.

Jacket Pockets:

• Left chest: 1 outside pocket
• Inside left chest: 1 horizontal pocket
• Inside left (lower): 1 additional inside pocket
• Inside right chest: 1 horizontal pocket
• Front: 2 pockets with flaps (the left pocket has 2 mini partitioned pockets inside)

Pants Details:

The matching pants are tagged waist 33, length 31. They feature a pleated front and a double closure system (hidden metal slip buckle plus button plus zipper). The pants have belt loops and a pocket on each side. The hem is cuffed on the outside with significant room for alterations - you can let down the cuff for approximately 2.5" more length, plus an additional 2.25" from the inner hem if needed (total potential 4.75" additional length).
