I have always loved the look of this receiver. These sound great and are just a great example of the Silver Face receivers. 
 I went for a more classic green dial with blue meters replacing the lamps with LEDs. It looks better in person than my photos show The blue is much less deep in person. 

If you love silver faced and or analog tuners you will love the Kenwood KR-4070 with 40 watts per channel providing plenty of power for most speakers and listening experiences. 

All the controls, switches and jacks have been cleaned.
Most all capacitors have been replaced for top performance and reliability.  Some in the tuner were still in top performance so I left them in. 
All knobs cleaned and lamps replaced with LEDs.  
Fully bench and listening tested.  

Treat yourself to some great sound and a great look on a fully serviced receiver.
