CONDITIONS:
Good general conditions, we are talking about a very ancient object from the 1500s. Some flaws on the enamel and some cracks and small flaws on the edges, as is normal for such an ancient object, see the photos carefully.

Item description:
A very hard, thick and heavy terracotta brick from the 1500s frescoed with a heraldic coat of arms, hand painted with the fresco technique, that is, first the tile was smoothed with plaster, Bologna chalk and rabbit glue, then painted with tempera colors. The coat of arms depicted can be traced back to the Mirasole Abbey near Milan. Usually this type of coat of arms is attached to the wall of the oldest abbeys, fortresses or noble castles, it is extremely rare to find a coat of arms of this kind in these conditions, relatively good considering how old it is and that it is essentially made of plaster, a very delicate material.
Useful information for evaluating the object:
The Mirasole Abbey was a grange, or a group of houses around the abbey near Milan, this abbey is one of the first in the city, its coat of arms is a large sun with 8 waving rays and 8 sharp rays spaced out, the sun represents the various phases of the working day, while the half moon is the symbol of sowing, tides and births. The sword between the two, however, is the symbol of warrior activity, or defense from the constant threat of aggressors. For this reason we are probably talking about a tile with the heraldic coat of arms of a castle built near the abbey, in defense of the same, made on commission for some noble Milanese house of the time.

.OUR COMMERCIAL POLICY
Aware that we operate in the eBay market, our prices are often lower than the prices at which very similar objects are offered on other online sales platforms, the prices at which they are offered by art galleries in cities such as Rome, New York or London and also the best auction results achieved by similar objects, which, overall, can give an indication of the value of the object, while lower auction results or sales at low prices, by inexperienced sellers who do not know the real value of the object, should, in our opinion, be considered as a stroke of luck for the buyer rather than an indication of the value of the object. The price we ask is always the lowest possible considering how much was paid for the object and the eBay commissions (for the sale, payment and any currency exchange: from a minimum of 15% to a maximum of 21%, depending on the country in which the object was sold) because we prefer to retain many customers by earning less on the single object, focusing on quantity.

For each object there may be multiple advertisements in different countries: USA, Italy, France, United Kingdom, etc. Any price differences are due only to changes in the exchange rate of the various currencies between when we made the advertisement and when you see it.

OUR SHIPMENTS:
..Our shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all
shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes.
