This is a Mason's Patent Ironstone China plate in the "Paynsley Pink" or "Paynsley" pattern.
The pattern features a central bouquet of hand-painted flowers in shades of purple, blue, green, yellow, and red.
The rim has a distinctive pink transferware border with a tiny Fleur De Lis design.
Mason's Ironstone was founded in 1796 and is renowned for its durable ironstone and richly decorated patterns.
The "Paynsley" pattern was produced from as early as the 1930s, following a late Victorian style
Condition is very good, given its age and size. No chips or cracks, some age related crazing and few usage marks.
Great for serving meats, cakes, sandwiches etc. and display when not in use. A lovely thing!
Many thanks for looking xx
