ITEM: Here is a mid-century Folding / Bellows camera from the George Herbert Company of Chicago. Designed to compete with Kodak, it used 620 roll film. It is called simply COMET. It offers two shutter settings. 1/50th and Time (stays open until shutter lever released. Camera body is metal with a leatherette covering. Inside is an empty 650 or 120 film spool. Camera has plain lensed viewfinder and also a 'hot-shoe' for attaching a flash attachment (not included). It has a receiver to accept a tripod mount, a spring loaded push button to open the bellows as well as a kick-stand for table setups. Another interesting feature is that both the feed AND take-up spools have control knobs for full control of film as it advances across the frame. It measures 1 3/8" thick, about 4" high and about 6" wide.

CONDITION: overall, quite nice. Clean and shows no real damage. Bellows track snaps into place almost on it's own. Shutter has no issues. Bellows fabric is supple and clean - I did a light test and didn't detect any leaks, but there are no promises - anything can happen with items like this. Main lens is pretty clear. Camera shows minor user wear but nothing of concern. Camera does not have bad odor and there are no rattles when shaken.

This camera in all likelihood will probably expose 120 film with some degree of acceptability provided you know what you're about. Item will be properly packaged and shipped promptly. This listing is Ai free, as mine all are.
