Antique Armand Marseille Bisque Head Doll – Early 20thC – Original Costume

A delightful antique bisque head doll by Armand Marseille, one of the most respected German doll makers of the late 19th and early 20th century. Dating to the early 1900s, this charming doll features a finely modelled bisque socket head with beautifully painted facial features, open mouth and glass sleep eyes.

The back of the head is clearly impressed “Armand Marseille” (as shown), confirming authenticity. She retains her original wig and is dressed in a lovely period teal and cream costume with matching hat, full of early character and charm.

The doll has a composition body with jointed arms and legs, and still wears her original lace socks. A very appealing example, ideal for both collectors and decorative display.
