AGRIMONY COCKLEBUR Agrimonia Eupatoria - 25 Bulk Seeds

Agrimony Cocklebur Agrimonia Eupatoria is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa. Agrimony Common seeds can be started indoors or directly outdoors. Also commonly called Church Steeples, Sticklewort, Agrimonia Eupatoria is medium to tall, erect perennial with dark green, deeply veined pinnate leaves and blooms with tall spires of star-shaped, sunny yellow flowers from June to September. The entire Sticklewort plant exudes a sweet citrus scent, and its bright and beautiful yellow, 20 inches or so tall flower spikes emits a spicy apricot scent. Each flower develops into a distinctive reddish-brown woody fruit, deeply furrowed and fringed with hooked bristles. Common Agrimony attract plenty of pollinator such as bees, flies, and butterflies.

Agrimony Cocklebur likes to grow in open fields, hedgerows and is often found on the edge of forests, and this robust plant is just perfect when planted near crops, slopes and trees. If Agrimonia Eupatoria seeds are sown directly outdoors without cold stratification, germination rates and duration periods can be poor, so for best results, the seeds have to be cold stratified in the fridge for four weeks prior planting. Sticklewort is an easy to grow, drought-tolerant, and frost resistant perennial herb which is popular for making refreshing tea from its fresh or dried seeds, leaves, stems and flowers.
