it is a black and charcoal gray, diagonal, herringbone, with bright colorful stripes running through it in a tattersall or windowpane pattern. 

soft and durable feeling flannel fabric, it feels like either a wool or wool blend, so please either hand wash cold or dryclean. 

zipper closure and little kick flap slit at back. 

handmade by someone with average sewing skills. like, could be better, could be worse. the shape and execution are fine but the inside view of the bottom hem could definitely look nicer. 

no flaws, only minor signs of wear, about what you'd expect for something worn and washed 4-5 times. 

slight cigarette smell, i washed it once but it persists a bit.
