This excellent large Doulton character jug depicts Queen Mary I of England.
 
It was modelled by Shane Ridge.
 
The jug was produced as Doulton's Character Jug of the Year for 2004.
It commemorated the 450th anniversary of the of the Queen's marriage to Prince Philip of Spain.
 
The jug stands 7½ inches tall.
 
The base has a Royal Doulton backstamp with model details.
 
This piece is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration, and it is guaranteed best quality.
