Rare, vintage Denby dog bowl, in the Manor green background colour.

Made in England to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's Coronation in 1953 and marked 'ER'

This is a solid piece of stoneware at approx 2kg, presumably so that the dogs could not push it around.

It would be great to think that it was made for the Queen's household and it looks to be a good size for Corgis, however, I guess it was just sold as a limited edition commercial item by Denby as a commemorative item.

This would make a fabulous gift for any dog lover that also likes their vintage Denby!

Size is approx 8 inches (20cm) diameter

The 'ER' Royal crest makes it easy to date, at 1953 production.

Condition is generally good, no chips or cracks, but there are signs of wear around the top.  It looks like several of them must have been stacked together.
