This is a nice, antique cast white-metal Spelter figural oil lamp base in the form of a putto cherub angel (see photos). The item looks to have originally been a figural base for an oil lamp that has now been converted for electric use as a lamp. The lamp is made of a cast white metal Spelter with mixed materials and lamp parts. The item has what looks to be the well-worn original painted finish (see photos). The lamp is antique. The item is from an estate liquidation. The lamp, in total, as shown, measures about 22+ inches high to the top of the socket; it measures about 19 inches high to the original oil reservoir holder portion. The lamp is sold in as-found estate condition. The lamp has been converted for electric use. The lamp has finish losses and some wear from age and use (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item).
