Number 1739 - Handmade in 1999. Very rare piece in incredible condition for its age. Signed by Lynn Haney on the base. Lynn Haney has been handcrafting highly collectible, truly
heirloom quality Santas since 1987. Beginning with one simple design as a
hobby over 30 years ago, the entire Santa Collection now boasts over
700 beautiful and truly unique Santa's. These unique Santa's are
designed right here in the USA by Lynn Haney, who is from Lubbock Texas.
The Lynn Haney Santa Collection was introduced in 1987 and is still
going strong today. Each unique Santa is carefully handcrafted by Lynn's
skilled team and then hand painted. The beautiful costumes, all
designed by Lynn himself, are handmade by skilled seamstresses in Lynn's
shop and then carefully placed on the Santa's. Finally the accessories,
each unique to each individual Santa, are also handmade and attached.
Before the handmade Santa's leave Lynn's shop and travel across the
country to various clients and shops, each Santa is inspected to make
sure he is perfect and ready to go. Christmas only comes once a year yet
these handmade Lynn Haney Collection Santa's are priceless and truly a
special and unique gift. A truly rare and hard to find Santa Claus to add to your collection!
In great condition for its age. It was stored away in a case for years out of the sunlight. No fading or discoloration of any kind that I can see. Still has its original hang tag on it from when it was purchased.
