AC/DC are back: “Rock Or Bust”

AC/DC are back after six years with the studio album “Rock Or Bust”. We were already able to take a look at the strong artwork and the video for “Play Ball”. One thing is clear: It may be the shortest AC/DC album to date (35 minutes), but every minute is worth it.

In the run-up to the release of "Rock Or Bust", AC/DC announced that founding member Malcom Young had left the band for health reasons: he suffers from dementia. The arrest of drummer Phil Rudd, whose future in the band has not yet been discussed, but who may be absent for some time, also caused quite a stir.

Of course, the essential thing remains the music of the rest of AC/DC on “Rock Or Bust”: A lot of mid-tempo sets the tone – that’s what those who have already listened to the entire new record have revealed. Of course, it's also important for die-hard fans to know whether AC/DC have remained the same or not. Sure, they are. It still rocks hard and gains momentum in songs like “Baptism By Fire”. Producer Brendan O'Brien is responsible for the quality of the album, which was recorded in Vancouver in spring 2014. Mike Fraser mixed the songs.

AC/DC will be going on a world tour with their new album “Rock Or Bust” in 2015. No fan should miss the opportunity to see the band live. You never know how many more albums and tours there will be.
