The remix album on vinyl
»Daft Club« is the first remix album by the legendary French electronic duo Daft Punk, consisting of musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, which disbanded in 2021. It was originally published on the 1st. December 2003 and contains numerous remixes of tracks from their second album "Discovery" (2001) and from their debut album "Homework" (1997).
Included are reworks by The Neptunes, Basement Jaxx, Chilly Gonzales, Boris Dlugosch, Cosmo Vitelli and other artists and producers.
The album's name comes from Daft Punk's online music service, a free service for buyers of early versions of the "Discovery" album. Each album included a Daft Club membership card that granted access to the Daft Club website with bonus tracks. But it was discontinued in 2003.
