Bernie Worrell was a keyboardist and composer best known for his role as a founding member of Parliament-Funkadelic and his work with Talking Heads. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 with fifteen other members of Parliament-Funkadelic.
Bernie's musical influence and contribution to not only playing funk but also incorporating rock and hip hop elements was immense. »All The Woo In The World« is the debut funk album from Parliament Funkadelic keyboardist Bernie Worrell, which was first released in 1978. The album was pressed as a limited edition and is highly sought after by collectors. The hit on this wonderful album is called “Insurance Man For The Funk”, lasts 12 minutes and 39 seconds and can be classified as pure P-Funk.
Bernie is responsible for lead vocals on many of the other tracks, although Junie Morisson also plays a significant role. Many P-Funk alumni are also involved in the album (Garry Shider, Bootsy Collins, Billy Bass Nelson and Eddie Hazel). On the track “Wizard of Woo,” Worrell gives the funk a futuristic sound with extravagant use of synthesizers.
