This hardcover first printing remains in unusually good shape. The covers are clean and sharp, with some scuffing to the edges; a mend to a thin horizontal tear in the spine (second-to-last photo); the binding is strong; a gift inscription to the first page from one of Balg's students; the text is a little toned with age, otherwise excellent.
