Exhorder are considered pioneers of the groove-oriented thrash metal sound. After the success of her debut album "Slaughter in the Vatican", she published her second studio album "The Law" in 1992. The album was produced by Tina Shoemaker, who also worked with Queens of the Stone Age, Sheryl Crow and Emmylou Harris. "The Law" contains the song "Into the Void", a cover version of Black Sabbath's song from their album "Master of Reality". It was also the last album before her first break until the reunification in 2008.
