Madonna's sixth studio album was originally released in 1994 and features collaborations with Babyface (who also co-produced the album) and Björk. After the rather provocative previous album Erotica, it quickly became clear that the same album was probably too offensive and open-hearted for some fans. On Bedtime Stories you can hear the true, but more subtle eroticism in her music and also her voice. The songs are well arranged throughout and are influenced by black music and hip hop from this time.
