On the 17th June 2022, 50 years and one day after the original UK release date, "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars " was released as a limited anniversary LP 50th Anniversary Picture Disc with the same master and a replica of the album's promotional poster.

This re-pressing of "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars " was cut from the restored 192kHz masters of the original Trident Studios master tapes on a custom-built Neumann VMS80 cutting machine with fully rebuilt electronics, with no additional processing during transfer. The Halfspeed was edited by John Webber at AIR Studios.
