This miniature sheet-iron teapot is likely a product of New England tinplate workers in the second quarter of the 1800s.  Measuring just 2 1/4" in overall height, it is likely coeval with toy pewter teapots produced at Roswell Gleason's shop, ca. 1830-1850.  One of the cutest little toys of yesteryear!
