Wonderful, imposing sculpture depicting the Nativity of Christ, a ceramic nativity scene, entirely hand-sculpted, made of glazed and vitrified majolica ceramic by Giuseppe Rossicone of Milan in 1975. Signed on the back "G. Rossicone 75."

Our research shows that Rossicone's work has achieved significant auction results, with prices for the largest and most important sculptures reaching €18,000–€22,000. This gives an idea of the importance of this Italian manufacturer. Smaller sculptures, but very similar to this one in terms of glaze, colors, and artistic workmanship, are offered on other online art and antiques platforms, ranging from €400-500 to €800-1,000. Finally, in the photos immediately below this description, we've included a large plate listed as far back as 2009 at €1,000-1,500, a price that, adjusted for inflation, would certainly be higher today. Furthermore, this is a starting price, a price that could rise during the auction, and to which a 25-30% buyer's premium should always be added. This is to give you an idea of the value of the ceramics created by Giuseppe Rossicone. Please note that this sculpture is particularly large and of exceptionally high artistic quality.

Rossicone is a Milanese ceramics workshop, founded by Giuseppe Rossicone, considered one of the most important of the second half of the 20th century. In the 1970s and 1980s, numerous artists created some of their works at the "Rossicone" kilns, including Philippe Artias, Floriano Bodini, Remo Brindisi, Bruno Cassinari, Michele Cascella, Giovanni Dova, Franco Gentilini, Luigi Veronesi, Umberto Mastroianni, Pietro Morando, Aligi Sassu, Giuseppe Migneco, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Michele Cascella, and Ernesto Treccani. OUR SHIPMENTS:

.Our shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes. This means that the package is much larger and heavier and therefore the cost of shipping increases, not to mention all the work necessary to carry out a similar packaging and the cost of the various materials used.
