This Is Spinal Tap is a 1984 American mockumentary comedy film directed by Rob Reiner in his feature directorial debut. Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer play members of the fictional heavy metal band Spinal Tap. Reiner plays Martin "Marty" Di Bergi, a documentary filmmaker following the band's American tour.

This Is Spinal Tap (or simply Spinal Tap) is the soundtrack to the film. All songs were written by the stars of the film: Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer. The cover art is identical to that of the fictional album Smell the Glove featured in the film.

THIS COPY is a 1st Hauppauge pressing on the Polydor label (see Notes, below). 

The vinyl, per a test listen, plays perfectly. With a few small rubbings, but no marks, the vinyl is in Very Good Plus [VG+] or better condition. (It's really quite nice.)

The original cover shows ony light handling, faint ring wear on the back, and a wrinkle in the upper left hand corner of the back.  Overall, the cover remains sturdy and in Very Good Plus [VG] condition.

The original inner sleeve, which features credits and a band photo on one side and lyrics on the reverse. It is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition.
