Vintage/Antique Unusual Tapered Double Faced Hammer, But Can't Read Makers Mark On Handle or Head

You are bidding on this Vintage/Antique Unusual Tapered Double Faced Hammer, But Can't Read Makers Mark On Handle And Head (see all pics). The hammer head is actually pinned to the original hickory handle (see pics). The hammer head and handle both have words on them, but I can't make out what the words spell out?? (see last 2 pics). The all steel hammer head is securely mounted to the original hickory handle, not loose at all. The handle does have some cracks just under the hammer head (see pics). And there's some chips of wood missing from the end of the handle (see pics). The handle is unusually slim near the top of the hammer head, but like I said still securely mounted to the hammer head (see all pics). Both hammer faces have some light hammer marks on them, along with some scratches, scrapes and ding marks on all sides of the hammer head. The hammer weighs in at 14.4 oz. The hammer head is 3-7/8" long. Each hammer face is 3/4" in diameter. The overall length of the hammer is 8-3/4" long.
