Here is a cute mid-century nut bowl shaped like an acorn. It measures about 9 inches long by 6.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. It is made to look like wood, but is actually resin or some other composite. It comes with a nutcracker and 6 nut picks. It is marked "Burwood". 

The bowl has a small chip on the rim (see photo).
