A very large and heavy antique copper saucepan with solid cast iron handle, robust copper rivets, a subtle hammered finish, cramped seams that are commonly known as dovetail seams, and a fresh tin lining. Surprisingly this copper saucepan has no obvious manufacturer markings or stamps on it. While it is difficult to say with any certainty, I think this copper saucepan was made in the United States-likely by DH&M or Duparquet during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The style of handle looks to be more American than French but it's hard to say for sure without any stamps. Regardless-this is a very heavy saucepan that is intended for heavy use. The center of the saucepan has been repaired at some point in time and this saucepan does not leak-meaning it is ready for use again!

Dimensions of this saucepan are:
Diameter of 37cm or 14.5 inches
Sidewall height of 21cm or 8.25 inches
Length when including the handle of 83cm or 32.625 inches
Copper thickness of 2.8mm at the rim
Weight of 24.4 pounds

This is a used item and it has some character marks on it. In addition to the repair mark mentioned above, there are a lot of minor dings and scratches to the saucepan. But these are just cosmetic imperfections and do not impair use of the pan. Due to the weight and size of this saucepan, it was most likely intended for heavy commercial use.

I have it listed as Free Shipping as I will have to design a custom box to fit this large saucepan if I cannot find one. Item will be shipped by UPS or FedEx.
