Large Islamic dua box pendant with an embossed surface pattern, four red and one blue glass accents, and a series of rupee coin dangles. The pendant contains a dua (an Islamic invocation or intention) but the box cannot be opened. Sourced from Kuchi nomads from the Kashmiri region of Pakistan. This is big - 6" x 5" x .6". Weighs nearly 10 ounces. The coin dangles make a quiet sound with movement as they bounce off each other; the sound is used to ward off the evil eye. Visibly aged pendant with oxidized crevices, surface wear, and a worn appearance.
Please note that the pendant does not open - the dua is enclosed within.
