 Abolitionist in Theme, in that art in 1848 rarely portrayed blacks integrating in general culture, as the title suggests....Power of Music Art of the time showed Blacks in Labor, or demeaning themes. 

This Lithograph is important to History, especially American Music History. Irish folk music influenced by African - led American Music to be the world leader it is today
