not only is the color unusual for a plaid (indigo, or halfway between royal blue and royal purple),

but it also has a paisley pattern subtly woven into the fabric.

i couldn't find a single other one like this online, though there are some red/green paisley/plaid combo pieces out there. 

outer layer is a faux wrap front, but underlayer is a black pencil skirt, without a slit. i think it's probably acetate, for the lining.

closes in back with a button/zip fly.

has been hemmed shorter (hand sewn). 

they did a pretty good job. 

otherwise great condition with only minimal signs of wear.

45" hips.

28" long (just below the knees for most people).

labeled US size 16, but it fits more like a modern size 12, so a large.
